When you claim UC the housing element will be paid direct to you as part of your single monthly payment. You are responsible for paying your rent from this.

You can pay by cash or debit/credit card at the Post Office or at retail outlets displaying the PayPoint sign – you’ll need your rent payment card and a method of payment.

You can also make payments through your bank’s online banking system. If you already use online banking, you just need to send payments to our account:
